Hi Road

I'd love to respond to a lot of that, but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed too. So let me leave it like this... by your math, you, a self proclaimed successful promoter got around 70 of 2500 possible members 20 of which were on your 3 or 4 teams to a draw at the greatest bar & casino on earth that is also “Known for their huge spread of great hot food” and we got 20 of 2500 to a pub in Langley. Good stuff. Congratulations, you got me. We all stand humbled in your promoting presence. I've been put in my place. It's to bad you're not on the executive to help with these things... ooooh that's right, you ran but the members didn't vote you in for some reason(s) Hmmm. Maybe you should have promoted yourself, since you're so good at it and all.

Listen, piss takinig aside, the small portion of this you're missing is this wasn't supposed to be a "Christmas Party" for 2500 people, its was a cup draw the members were all invited too, first a foremost. Yes the event should reflect your league I agree, for once, but so too should the people running it. You and Guinness have more burt timber than California in the summer.

See you tomorrow. We can hug it out.

I also would like to know who is in charge of the Awards Banquet we all paid $100.00 per each team?
4 tix x $25 =$100.00 X 115 teams is what ?? 11.5k WOW !
Does Jimmy Macs even hold 400 plus people ???
$11,500.00 is an awful lot of chicken wings.
Yes guys every team had to prepay upfront for 4 $25 awards dinner tix.
Great Idea for sure...As long as its done right.
From whats been happening dont count on anything better than a bucket of wings and a vegi plater at some local pub...PS drinks are Extra.....
Has anything been booked yet or even looked into???Celebrity MC, Hall,Caterers,Awards ??? or is Wil just going to pull ping pong balls from a hat????
or has it just been deferred till the new year....Leaveing tons O time to plan a $11.500.00 Dinner Awards Banquet.
For that Amount of money and peeps everything should already be finalized and extra tix should be on sale. For real.

FVSL dropped the ball. Was there door prizes??? And it's a good idea to make it a joint Christmas party/Cup draw. Could have had more guys out this year but the FVSL holds grudges. If they didn't want Ghouse doing it, they should have at least copied last years event.

You are required to present to the ref i fvsl ID card before every game. We are in week 14 and the cards have not been issued.

First week of cup games is in january. Cup draw will be announced in early summer.

Cup Draws are finally on the FVSL site on the schedules page. Although there appears to be a couple of glitches in the Masters Draw (which is the only one I looked at) - at least one for sure.

First glitch is that the Abby Brickmen aren't in the draw anywhere. Don't know if this is on purpose or not.

Second glitch is definitely a glitch. The Peace Arch Rangers and LUFC Athletics play in "game 8" in round 1. However, in the round of 16, there is no "winner of game 8" listed anywhere. The Castilians have a bye in that round for some reason, so perhaps they will just be slotted in to play there.

I think we have a pretty tough first round opponent in Peace Arch FC, but we certainly can't complain about our draw.:)

If I remember correctly the Brickmen have declined to play making their game a bye.

Should have spent some money that GHouse says we have, to have them hermetically sealed and put in a Mayonaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls Porch at noon the day before.
But i'm sure, in his divine and mystical way he would ascertain the answers to the the envelopes, having never seen the team names before
