Decent game , Rangers missing a few players, Allblacks missing a couple.
Well played game , bit of a shoddy reffing display though but it didn't effect the outcome. Allblacks had their chances. GEU next week then the break . To any teams who are done this weekend... Merry Christmas Boys and try to stay out of trouble.

Good game last night..........Plenty of spirit showed by both teams.

Yes it was cold but nice to get the always tough AllBlacks out of the way just before the break.

They just worked hard and never went way all night. Utah was a nice addition to the AllBlacks squad and Hildi played very well in the middle.

Dana with the game winner , and Andy with the second.


Tonight is the Rangers Christmas due over at Halvys place.

I don't think this young man knows what he and his wife are in for.

I see that we are scheduled to play next Sunday night at 8 pm......To quote Sir M," give me strength".

Well the old adage; "Good teams find a way to win." is very true.
If AllBlacks were going to nick a point or two; last nights game could have been it. Rangers with a host of quality players missing and AllBlacks coming off a 5 game run. Too bad JC hobbled off early, the boy is really enjoying his footy in Black. Kemper with a big game, he hit the post and the cross bar. Rangers knocked the ball around very nicely but didn't dominate the play like they've been known to do in the past. Overall a very good game to watch.

Utah made his debut, coming UP to play in the Masters. The young lad looked very good in the middle of the park. Cheers Utah. The future of football looks very bright in Langley.
GEU next week to round off the season.

Well here it is $$$MANS christmas letter for $anta Clau$!

Dear $anta I am good person but I have done some things some people might say aren't very nice. Here is my Christmas wish list.
1) Barry in the GEU lineup (note Barry Parno not Barry Mannilow)
2) A Ref that can take a good bribe, ever since Whistleblower started playing for the Rangers it has been hard to have good officiating.
3) Back in Sir M's top twenty list, I've wined and dined him yet to no avail. Sir M pull out your CSI kit a terrible crime has been committed we even lost to the Allblacks.
4) I want a pissed off Phatanslow, it gives me something to look forward to at work.
5) And this is my last wish could we have an exhibition game against Taxmans team to show him how superior the FVSL is compared to the VMSL.

That's it $anta please align the universe with bribery corruption and cheap lap dances and victories for Geu Thunder.

So moneyman it seems we have a couple big games coming up in the near future. Care to put something on the line ?? It seems to be all the rage with the allblacks right now so how about a COOLER bet ?? Well a modified cooler bet anyway ! If you win I will buy the contents ( beer only ) of your cooler for GEU but if we win you buy the contents ( again beer only ) of our cooler for the allblacks . Sounds fair as last game we had to come back to squeak out a 2-1 win. Either way it would make an otherwise dull game a bit more interesting.

I would love to Phats lets say $100.00 and the winner can buy there beer of choice. I won't be able to make it to the game as I'm having my knee scoped tommorrow but my money will make it. With a little luck in the $$$MANS favour the game will be postponed due to snow and be rescheduled, that way I can personally make a few deposits in the back of the Allblacks net in the new year. My favourite brand of beer Phatanslowlychilledandfree! I would check with Phil as he has witnessed when the $$$MAN has put money up for a victory, god the beer tastes good in victory!!!!!

Well it's over...GEU is drinking free beer !!
3-0 GEU , actually 3-0 flattered us as we got killed tonight.
I myself had a rough night ..first lost $100 ( which I paid right after the game with a "well played boys good result and Merry christmas" ) second got taken down and landed on a couple cracked ribs and to top it off a GEU defender is going for the big half volley clearance and BAMM straight in the face , checked to make sure the nose was straight then made sure all the chicklets were there and last made sure I wasn't spouting all over. No everything was in place so on with the game. Terrible night but no excuses ..they played harder and in the end much better than us... so tail between the legs I must say Moneyman you won... This one anyways . Maybe I will have a chance at getting even with the up coming cup game. Either way Merry Xmas.

Well here you go boys time to get festive so for anyone who has missed it here you go the TTP Christmas Carol.

Twas the night before before Christmas, as I made my
Final TTP posts
Not a creature was stirring, not even Phatanslow
The beers were stacked in the fridge with care
In hopes of Rangerforever soon would be there

The strippers were nestled all snug in there beds
With visions of spending $$$MANS money danced through there heads
And Sir M drinking Cognac and Taxman drinking Guiness on tap
We were reminiscing of all the 2007 TTP crap

When out in my driveway, there arose such a clatter
I sprang from the bar to see what’s the matter
Away to the window, I strained to see
Couldn’t make it to the bathroom so out the window I did pee

The moon on the breast of the peed upon snow
I had written my name two stories below
But, what to my blood shot eyes should appear
A van full of TTP posters drinking Old Style beer

With a little old driver, so lively and quick
Taxman said hey I know that Prick
More belligerent then Coach his curses they came
As he whistled and shouted and called them by name:

Now Scottyshell! Now Ballbaby
Now Whistleblower, and Dude
On , Coach ! On Blaze Army!
Hands of Stone why you so rude
To the top of the porch!
He stumbled into every wall
Now fcuk off! Fcuk off!
Fcuk off to all!

As the dry leaves out in the valley they do fly
When you run into a roadblock make sure that you lie!
So out to the Estates of $$$MAN they flew,
A van full of drunks, and Rangerforever too.

And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof
The dancing and singing of some one aloof
As I drew in my head and was turning around
Down the chimney Rangerforever came with a mighty bound.

He was all dressed in fur, from his head to his foot,
He was wearing the Sihks teams tracksuit and taking a toot
A bundle full of empties he had flung on his back,
He looked like a crackhead on East Hastings opening his pack.

His eyes how they twinkled! His head not so hairy!
His cheeks were like roses, he wished he could play just like Barry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow
For he just realized in his drunken stupor he was eating yellow snow!
The stump of a joint he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook when he ran, like a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a jolly old elf
I laughed when I saw him , reminded me of myself.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
He cleaned out the buffet even the bread


He spoke not a word , but went straight to his work,
And stole the rest of the beers, what a fcuking jerk
And giving me the middle finger from the side of his nose
And giving a nod off the couch when he rose.

He sprang to his van, to his team he gave a whistle
Away from the $$$MAN Estates they drove down thistle.
But I heard him exclaim,’ere he drove out of sight,

“Happy Christmas to all, and GEU Thunder your all right!”

Thanks Leaping Lanny, thats a great poem and nice win on friday, the All-blacks are a good team.

Well the Mighty Rangers will finish 2007 in second place to Delta, tonights match in Abby has been called off, thats too bad, but look for lots of goals from the Rangers in 2008, building up to the Cup match with Delta.

Ok Hands Of Stone the time has come to put your money where your mouth is, let's see you are giving me 100-1 odds. Didn't your Daddy teach you when you're playing cards a pair of Aces doesn't beat 3 of a kind . I will gladly take this bet. I will be back on the 26th of Jan rehabing the knee someplace warm.Hopefully we play after that, I'm getting tired of other people collecting my winnings.
