Pretty sure that is a core of guys from BRM that dropped out of the VMSL - they should challenge for promotion if they can stay healthy and add a few more bodies.

Well, back at it in a few short weeks. Should be an excellent division one this year with 10 teams.
Thunder will be stealing some wins thins years, with less goal posts and more mesh. Especially against the rabbits foot team Chilliwack. Good luck this season boys!

6-0 lumping we took by Chilliwack yesterday.
Didn't seem to be that bad as the match went on but we certainly had our asses handed to us in the end.
Cam Willmets is a stud in the midddle of the park for them as well as John(?).
Chilliwack to take points from a few teams this year and will do well.
Exhibition Field was in great shape although the grass could have used a wee snip to put it in mint condition.
Preston North End's finest official was fantastic and very fair to both sides.
Although Cam may beg to differ on his cracker in the first half that didn't seem to get as much luck to convince the man in the middle as say, Sir Geoffrey Hurst.
Pints were tasty regardless post match where we enjoyed the fine Chilliwack air in the back parking lot listening to the the dirt bikes humming in the distance.

I went and watched my old team (and by old, do I ever mean OLD) beat Poco 3-1 tonight...with 3 goals in the last 6 minutes.
Gutsy, shorthanded effort. They could have folded the tent after going down 1-0 halfway through the 2nd half, but they kept plugging away. Fergie got a mucker goal with about 6 to go, then Chris with a nice one coming off the left flank. Marty managed insurance when Taco decided to leave the pipes and go for a sideline excursion. Insurance goal may have been offside, but it was so late in the match, it didn't matter.
Still love the boys, even if they made fun of me on my bike with my helmet and sandles. Fcuk you all.

Definitely a surprise for us that we haven't had the BBQ out this year....
I think Chilli going 3-0 to start when they were 8th last year might be a wake call to the rest of us.
The other surprise appears to be Surrey United coming from the VMSL and going into Division 1 rather than Premier this year.
Who the fcuk does that?
Who the fcuk hides out in Division 1 when they should be playing Premier?

With respect to predictions, I predict we'll have the deep fryer out Saturday.

1st Division is just right for our objectives at the moment, thank you. Competitive game last night vs South Surrey FC. Very hard working team indeed. We worked hard too, but some of that work was to rectify overplaying of the ball and losing it when we should have been releasing it quick. There were some very good performances and both teams scored some very pretty goals. We were up 4-1 and it looked like we were going to add more BUT they came back and they made it close at 4-3.
Went out after and I am soooooooo tired!!!!!!
