G-tard,

Threads that are inactive, (that's a big collage word for - not posted in or used) for over 1 month drop off the main page. No one has touched your threads. You can continue to butcher the Egwish language in here as well.

So back on topic.

No real surprizes so far.
In Group A, PAU has 2 tough games remaining and really control their fate.
I think the POCO/PAU game will be the desider on who moves through to the knock out round.
In group B, Its still a little wide open. Abby has 2 Important games to clinch to secure thier spot in the knock out round and to defend thier Cup.
Langley needs to keep rollin along and Pt Moody still have an outside chance to claim the 2nd spot and squeek in.
Lots of Important games to come starting this week.
I think Abby/Langley are moveing through from group B. Still, this division has more games to play and as we have all seen...anything can happen in Cup. So dont count out PT Moody quite yet.
Abby 2 games this week and the 2nd vs Moody Friday will be the match of the week for div B
Saturday the division A match of the week POCO vs PAU is just as important.

GEU upset Abby last night.(3-2)
Group B is wide open with 4 teams still in the hunt for the Knockout round.
This weekend GEU in a must win over the Wack to move into a tie for top spot.
Abby and Moody both need wins aswell,Abby to move into top spot and Moody to stay in the race with a game in hand.
Langley already with 6 points at the top has a bye.

Group A PAU vs POCO is still Group As match of the week.

SX Cup B

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

# Team Name GP W T L GF GA PTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 GEU United 2 2 0 0 6 3 6
2 Langley Utd 2 2 0 0 2 0 6
3 Abbotsford Mariners 3 1 1 1 6 5 4
4 Port Moody Gunners 2 0 1 1 2 3 1
5 Chilliwack Rapids 3 0 0 3 1 6 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you can see group B is far from over. This weekend only tightened up the race to qualify for the knock out round.
The Gunners are still in it even with only 1 point. Of coarse they will need some help and will need to score some goals but they could sneek in. I wouldnt bet on it,but its a possibility.
Abby needs to beat Langley and then pray for help like Moody .
Langley and GEU just need to win one more each.
There are a few scenaros to watch for makeing this race tight to the end.

In group A ,PAU and ACBC have qualified and have yet to play for tops.
Winner plays the second place team from Group B. So still an Important game to play.

GEU 3 - Langley 0

GEU lucky to go into the half 0-0. LUFC definately out chanced us, and carried a lot more possession.

Second half GEU played much better and got rewarded for the build up they had. GEU keeper probably man of the match.

I dont think Ive ever seen Langley finish that poorly...ever.

Well, that was FUN...

ACBC is unreal going forward. Such skill at pace causes all sorts of troubles. We battled hard to stay in it and finally finished a chance when we needed it. Big monkey off our back after giving up 11 to them in the previous 2 games.

At least Tyler stuck around for a beer...
