Took in this game and Moody just simply outworked PAU for the last 15-20 minutes. The team that wanted it more won, simple as that. Port Moody's speed also seemed to be to much for the Peace Arch center backs to handle, as one guy had 3 breakaways in the second half alone.

pretty tight at the top for the 3rd spot with one game remaining (if it means anything anymore, as the VMSL seems against the bcpl)

Lions squandered an early 2 goal lead. this was as close to a win as they were going to get.

Well the Lions have been playing better for sure and have drawn in the Pak, vs Abbotsford Arsenal a lower ranked div 1 team...and its a home game at Delsom.
I think with no offence to Abby were all pullin for Delta to pick up thier first win of the season and maybe have a bit of a run at the Cup.

Pretty spot on Jive. I thought we certainly out-played them and played some of our nicest stuff of the season, certainly in the first half, but our final ball(s) in and around the area and a couple nice stops by the Moody keeper early gave their, I'll say, youthful enthusiasm and work rate a chance to do their thing. 2-1 until literally the last minute when we were caught pushing and scrambling. Our Keeper bailed us out a couple of times in the second half on their counter attacks, but the bubble was bound to burst sooner or later.

Not good enough on our part.

Thanks Ghouse. I have to agree that it was a good and entertaining game. I would have preferred to be on the other end of the score but you deserved the win. It is tough trying to contain the speed that your guys put across the entire pitch. Over the last few years we have always given you a good run but your guys are more cohesive now and that can only work well for you in the future. Best of luck in the BCPL

Pretty ugly game on both sides with no finish. It was nice to hang out for a bit with the PAU boys with some pints and bbq. Top notch facility, and I only wish Albion could do something similar.

Ugly is being kind, outkast... but at least the majority of our 20 man roster (first time all season or ever for that matter) got a run in. Cheers for sticking around for the BBQ. Good group of guys you have there.

What was Abby thinking agreeing to that? A final league game vs ACBC when they really have nothing to play for in it would be a great motivator to make the BCs, no?

Laziness on their part if you ask me. I told him he was stupid to do it. Just think if the BCPL had gone through a team like Abby could have represented the FVSL.
