Are all Div 1 teams now automatically entered? I don't see a Div 1 Cup anymore... I think

Regs, Div 1 cup got canned after "Div 1 CAT" became CAT "A" and those teams were moved to Div 2 Cup, and then Div 1 itself shrunk from 20 to 12 teams. The last year the Div 1 Cup Competition was held Bombastic were crowned champions of the whopping 4 teams that entered.

Current Div 1 teams may opt out of participation from Imperial Cup. I believe the only team to do so this year is Gastown FC, most likely because they are sandbagging and transferring their "Div 1" players to CAT to play in the Div 2 Cup.

I'm not sure about the first upset, but the first win has already occurred. Pegasus moves on past Akal in Match 7 without kicking a ball. They will face CCB in the Round of 16.

Lights at Memorial South are the same as at Trillium - the programming is run by a company in Denver. Even if the Parks Board accepts Ruben's request it's no guarantee that things get processed properly...

Guess the results answered my question - Ayjal (everyone's favourite team...) is into the quarter finals (and only two wins away from a place in BCs)

So with "favourites" CCB and EDC gone, out the window are Regs' and RL's predictions...new thoughts?

I caught some of the Rinos/Tigers round one match and the Tigers have some high end players. Their centre back was exceptional. I also thought Rinos could have won that game and were strong.
