2 goals for Canada vs probably a very shite squad but a good showing nonetheless! Be great if he got the nod for some Gold Cup duty.
Canada Ends Camp With Victory
Canada's Men's National Development Team earned a 5-0 win over Honduras 5 Star, a local semi-professional club based in Miami, Wednesday at the Hilton Sunrise in Sunrise, Florida.
Jason Jordan had two goals while Ali Gerba, Patrick Leduc and Felix Brillant added singles to lead the Canadian attack. Mike Franks and Andrew Olivieri shared the shutout.
The game culminated a five-day training camp as part of head coach Frank Yallop's preparation for the upcoming Gold Cup.
Canada will hold a pre-tournament training camp beginning June 27 in Vancouver. Canada will then play an international friendly against Honduras at Swangard Stadium on July 2.
