Brilliant!!! The boys can still Rock!!
We saw a few TTP faces in the crowd also.
They sounded amazing and didn't take a break. Solid 1.5 hours.
The venue is really good also. They took the seats out and opened up the floor. Really intimate atmosphere for the metal heads.

We were surprised that there was no opener whatsoever, so we actually missed the start of the set. It didn't really matter though as they saved all the best tracks for the 2nd half of the set. From the moment Halford did the call-response with the crowd of "Breaking the What?" it was ON. After the sweet riffs of Breaking The Law, Halford rolled out on a Harley (see pic below) and they kicked into Hell Bent For Leather, then took a quick break before coming back with a fantastic performance of Electric Eye followed by You've Got Another Thing Comin'! Another break, allowing for the crowd to cheer for an encore, had them cap off the evening with a searing rendition of Pain Killer, and then a crowd sing-a-long of Living After Midnight.

In addition to the music there was plenty to entertain visually in terms of the clothing on display, and I'm not just referring to Halford's wardrobe, which changed multiple times. Of course there were the expected share of leather and denim with the leather vests standing out the most. However, the one thing that really caught our eye was the girl wearing the leather top that had shoulders 6 inches wider than her actual frame, and then consisted purely of tassels hanging down from just below her clavicle to her naval.

Finally, two things I've never seen at a metal show: No mosh pit despite a huge GA area, and a guy getting told by security to put his shirt back on during the show. You sir will not rock out at the Hard Rock!

Now my buddy is on the hunt for "metal moms" who he has discovered as a new category of tail to chase. Thanks @Regs for the hookup.

And yet we get a photo of a Harley. So much to learn still.

:)

Sounds like it was an awesome time!

Sorry I had to miss it. One of my all time favorite bands without a doubt.

Looking forward to Black Sabbath in the new year. Probably the last time ever seen together as the original band....can't wait.
