Knight Soccer Tournament (Labour Day Weekend)

This year the Knight Soccer Tournament shifted from Burnaby Lake to North Surrey Secondary. The grass fields at North Surrey were in pristine condition and made for some great matches.

The A Division had 6 teams: Rino's (VMSL), NK Hrvat (VMSL), UBC Metros (VMSL), Pomo Gunners (FVSL), ACBC (FVSL), and Stolo (FVSL)

The final was Rino's 2 - 1 Pomo Gunners

The B division was won by Serengeti, a team from Seattle. They defeated SFC Guilford by pks. Both teams looked strong enough to compete in the A division as Guilford had Jag Gill and Azad Palani playing for them. Looks like they'll be a good team in FVSL Div 1 this year.

If that's the case then why were they playing in this tournament instead of with their VMSL Premier teams that were playing league matches on the weekend?

Couldn't tell ya but they both don't play winter on that team. They are not registered with them but are with their premier squads.
