We played a dam good Aldergrove team,,man those farmer boys are big.
One player when throwing the ball in was actually throwing a shot on net.
A great game to play and a great game to watch,,when you could see ,,it was pretty foggy...
Lots of action both ends.

the winter rust of not playing for a month and a half killed us too. abby storm 3 - pacific 0. these guys have an army of players that can run all day long, they wore down our shortened bench and we couldn't put 2 passes together all game.

We played like crap for the first 20 min and let them score one against the play. Thats what happens in the first game in 2 months I guess. Then we settled down and pretty much took the game to them the rest of the way. Short bench for us too but thankfully we didnt play a very tough team. They were big and older and played physical which suits our team just fine.
On to the next game, hopefully we got rid of most of the rust.

We did...poor effort from us, and a better one from them. We just flat out didn't really show on Sunday. Disappointing, to say the least.

You know, sometimes its just a match-up deal...and we didn't match up well against them. It happens...just unfortunate it had to happen in Cup play.
