Ya know, I like it (the logo/brand)!

It's new and different yet seems to have a familiarity to it. It's refreshing to see something that is not so "cartoonish" that NA sports logos tend to lean towards these days.

I'd agree... its not typical, which is either a good or bad thing depending on if the person you are chatting with wants to be perceived as a purist or not...

It's a lot better than the current logo.

I don't know. It's definitely different and not cartoonish. But it's kind of plain. I thought maybe they would have added more to it. Anyways, it's definitely a logo to get use to and will eventually rub off. Similar to the Canucks Whale jersey when it first came out. Anyways, just glad MLS is in Vancouver.

I like it, although I thought whitecaps are in reference to waves but that's neither her nor there $300 for 17 games is pretty freaking cheap too!

Nothing in it (except for the name and FC at the end) says it's soccer related. That's the best they could do?

The only teams currently in the EPL that have a soccer ball or anything that could tip off an unknowing person that it is indeed a soccer club (aside from an FC designation or the words Football Club, are: Birmingham, United, and Spurs.

there is nothing in Rangers logo, it's just an RFC overlay, Celtic is just a clover and a wordmark around it...Real Madrid, a circle with a crown and word mark..

Were you expecting another cartoon soccerball with a comet tail and Whitecaps written underneath in a comic book font?

Actually it reminds me a bit of a German club, can't remember which one but it is mostly green rather than blue.

And don't mind jonesy, he's a united fan.

Agree with djones a bit. Part of me was hoping for a revival of the 79 logo. Or... they should have at least gone with the font from the 79 logo. I believe its the font that makes it blah. V W in the water portion of the diamonds is a cool idea. Overall... ok.

Im not a huge fan of the logo....And Im not a fan of the new light blue color either...I dont hate it,I just think they could have done better.
I heard the new BC Place stadium will have Blue lights on the roof/building when the Caps are playing and Orange when the Lions are at home..I like that idea..they do that in Germany somewhere too where they share a stadium...blue/red.

I like the way seattles teams are kitting up close to the same colors so the stadium looks the same no matter who is useing it...Orange and Blue are a ways off...
