Montreal awarded MLS franchise for 2012

"Passionate" Montreal named as 19th MLS city | Major League Soccer

Huge for Canada I think and the development of the game.

Agree Regs- this is great news! This is culterally very good for the MLS, too. Montreal will bring some great culture to the league, and you know the players will love the road trips into Old Montreal and the nightlife!

Awesome...now all we need is for the Callies to go pro and become Calgary's MLS team... They probably wouldn't need to change the lineup at all because they are so good.
