7PM: Bulldogs vs Coveside
9PM: NAFC vs West Van FC

May 7:
7PM: Malones vs Vikings
8PM: Warriors vs Norvan
8PM: Seymour vs Guardians

Good well deserved win for coveside. Rumour had it Anti-Fan was trying to sign with you guys?

West Van had a few chances in first half, but Roman and rest of NAFC battled more in the second half and just wanted it more.

Last night it was West Van 4, LV Azteca 1. It was the first game of the year for the WV summer team. Azteca had green tops and shorts, and red socks, which is cool, and very Mexican. Notty scored two for WV. You don't see that happen every day.

Two for Notty? Must have been a full moon out.

Norvan 1 Seymour 0

Seymour had to default.

Notty actually had a second two goal game a couple of weeks back, believe it or not.

Vikings defeated LV Aztecs 3-0 in one semifinal this eve, and WVFC defeated Norvan 7-0 in the other semi. So it is another WVFC/Vikings final again this year, with the best Vikings actually being WVFC players.

SirM, is this the same Franksy that had his nose "shattered" a scant 4 weeks ago as reported on the NSCL website? The miracles of modern medicine. Good luck tonight....gonna be a hot one. Perhaps a pitcher of martinis is in order?

Yes Lupo and it did happen. His nose gets broken more often than Dickens gets another in a series of "I might get hurt" episodes.

West Van won the final Lupoman. And a special treat (if having Rene ref wasn't enough) NSCL celebrity "Johnno" presented the trophy to West Van captain Besty. Notty took the leading scorer trophy, because the golden boot winner from WV decided to go golfing instead of playing in the final, so he doesn't get it.
