I've read so much going either way on him. Articles either say he shows signs of being able to play at that level taking on defenders and using his speed, or saying he doesn't do anything right. I guess I'd actually have to see it for myself to actually make up my mind.

You can teach x's & o's and develop some skill.

You can't teach 6'1, 190 lbs, and 4.2/40

You can't teach a desire to be good at everything you want to do

if he could be taught technique to improve touch, shooting, and passing (he supposedly did play a lot as a youngster) I doubt anyone is going to master any skills starting fresh as a 33 year old.

He's never going to be "elite" ...but it IS mls...
