A new thread............any readers here?
To get started - there was a crazy game between The Pioneers and Delta on Sunday morning. There we were, in the snow plating on the rock hard frozen surface. If our kids had this much passion for the game we wouldn't be number 800 in the world!

I will bite, Columbus and Croatia played two Sunday mornings ago high on the Norvan mountainside, unbelievable field conditions, and a frigid wind to boot, but no way was the ref going to stop either team from playing -- and it was a great game (well, maybe not so fun for the Croatians.)

Funny, the youngsters in my old club have to pool the A, B and Masters for training when the weather gets ugly, last Thursday night (like every Thursday night) the O'50s had 20 guys battling on frozen gravel. It is like Saturdays at Willingdon, who could imagine not showing up, deep snow and ice just makes the game so much interesting -- especially the plinking.
