Sorry,but got tickets to the Portland game and got more enjoyment watching "Winger" the mascot.Absolutely no atmosphere in the stands.Quite sad actually,especially after
being a Whitecaps season ticket holder back in the late '70's and enjoying big crowds and exciting football(and Andy Whitecap).I just don't see 20,000 fans watching MLS on a regular basis.As fans we want BIG names on the field and unfortunately hockey is #1 in this city.

The Blue Haired old ladies from the Whitecaps got what they wanted finally, and this douche from the Richmond Soccer League too.BC Soccer Web And the Southsiders went dim for one night, the Whitecaps are doing everything in their power possible to get more out of the fans and are slowly seeing that the Wendy's family nights crew and soccer moms with 5 kids in tow that don't give a toss about the game don't create atmosphere, and don't come back after their kids "team night" at Swangard.
