Actually it is a poco event, I reserved the field personally in June and our club asked bob at Pomo last week if they would like to get involved. We were going to have our Masters team play the other game but it just worked out this way. Field cost is close to $1000 with lights. Were still trying to sort out the concession/beer situation

We had asked jc at pau to play but he politely declined.........fact

Agreed. Next year we should aim for a league event with all the games played over two days at swangard. With beer garden. Similar to what the vmsl did at newton last year.

The league isn't putting up any "dosh".....it has better things to spend it's dosh on like matching game balls and tshirts for cup winners.
