Richmond Regional Summer League Looking for 2 teams to play in Div 1.

The RRSL is looking for 2 teams to play in Division 1 for the upcoming season. The league plays Thursday nights. Fields are available in Richmond but if you have a local field you can play there as well. Call Keith Kornder at 604 581 9667

Teams currently in the first division are Westside FC, Club Ireland, Bingers Army, Westside Rino....etc.

The calibre is very good but 2 teams have moved to over 30's leagues in Div 1 and none of the 10 teams in Div 2 want to move up. Season starts April 23rd.

Maybe that Ante Up Untd team that plays in the richmond league want to join? They are a preety solid team I think and have wanted to schedule an exhibition game with us for quite some time. I am not sure who the contact person is though.

I heard they played a bunch of games this season with less than 11 players. That doesn't bode well for playing in the summer when players are generally even more inconsistent on attendance.

Looking at the richmond winter standings maybe Real Richmond would be a good fit?

With six teams in the first division this is a great time to join the league and bypass playing a year or two in the second division.....get the word out!!!

Anybody know when Div 1 is scheduled to start? my understanding was this Thursday?

Checked the website, Div 2 starts today and their divisional info (schedule, standings and teams) has been updated. While their is no information regarding Div 1! wtf
