Most music threads seem to either focus on good techno (such as Terrytoo's offerings) or complete and utter pish a deaf man would be unhappy to hear (such as all of LVL's picks). This thread is for tunes that Rock and or Roll. How long ago or recently they were released doesn't matter.

There is however one request, please no Nickelback or anything in that style. No craprock please. I know there are some old farts on here capable of suggesting some gems no doubt unheard by some of the younger TTPers.

Here are some suggestions.

New Bomb Turks - Snap Decision
Treble Charger - Roller
Hellacopters - Truckloads of Nothin'
Motorhead - Iron Fist
Radio Birdman - Murder City Nights
Rocket From The Crypt - Eye On You
Supersuckers - Psyched Out
Turbonegro - Gimme Some

and last but by no means least, Surrender by the great Cheap Trick.

Finally someone else with a passing knowledge of music. It has to be said that the "Good Music" thread "pisstake" has run out of steam. Posting invites to the "show" of a one-legged, tone-deaf misery-merchant with a cartoon name playing a gig down the Wigan Working Men's Club on a Saturday night is rather taking the already amateurish and clumsy interpretation of a pisstake too far. Still, it's a terrible thing, loneliness. I wouldn't know as I've a sailor in every port but hopefully the poor mite will find some friends on the internet who will join him at his little concert.

I have to disagree with you about LVL. I think his posts over the last week have been by far the best he's ever come out with. Real quality stuff for once.

Rock:
Dakota- Stereophonics
Where Damage Isn't Already Done- The Radio Dept. ~ The best thing out of Sweden since Bjorn Borg and gay porn.
Carrion- British Sea Power
Banquet- Bloc Party
Alone Again Or- The Damned

Roll
Pulling our Weight- The Radio Dept.
Collapsing New People- Fad Gadget
Walking Down Madison- Johnny Marr
Comforting Sounds- Mew
Yes- Mcalmont & Butler

Good thread. Finally.
