A sad story but really couldn't help not passing along to TTPers:

Germany mourns Knut, polar bear sensation

But once Knut grew into a strapping adolescent and then adult, animal welfar groups began to worry that he was displaying abnormal behaviour because of all the attention.

Sad but so true.

This is Extremely sad. but a mother doesn't reject a cub unless she would have good reason. Animals in captivity is always sad for the animal as it was ment to be wild. "Capitivity" "Zoo" it is all Jail for the animal who has perpatrated nothing. It is time we respect ourselves by respecting our environment and those who share it with us. We are all animals and deserve the right to live our lives as Nature intended it.
