Yes, this is the weekend Celtic will maintain their 13 point cushion. I believe there are a few injuries that may plague Celtic. However, they will be able to get at least a draw out of this match. Let's say the score will be 1 - 1. Okay, the score will be 1 - 1.

Stop with the excuses

Captain, if injuries were an exceptable excuse then I would say the only reason Celtic are in the position to win back 2 back League titles is because of the constant injury woes at Ibrox over the last 2 campaigns!!! For this weekend lets see, we are missing at least 5 - 6 possible starters as per usual:mad: De Boer, Mols, Arveladze, Ball, Moore and possibly Ferguson & Konterman... It also looks like Ricksen is suspended!!! so if Celtic don't win, there are some huge concerns at Parkheed!!!

Prediction: tough battle with the Gers finishing on top 3 - 2.

BTW, the match will be played Live Sunday @4am our time. (probably worried about trouble makers cladded in hoops not being able to handle their bevies)!!!

What’s with that?
It seems as though every time we play the “enemy” we have injury trouble!
Could it be the lack of local talent and too many heartless Europeans?

Heart

Braveheart is extremely important to play in the Scottish League (as well as any other Euro professional League)... but unfortunately the lack of domestic talent available in Scotland is the problem!!! not the shape of heart in the European players... Ricksen, Amo and Konterman are three good examples of Euros coming to Ibrox and battling week in week out (Champions League, UEFA or domestic League & Cups)... Konterman has been playing injured for weeks (he had an injection prior to last few games to freeze up his foot)... Amoruso wears his heart on his sleeve 110% of the time and Ricksen is getting a reputation around Scotland for being a fierce and hard tackler!!! Maybe the depth of our talent and a weak youth pool in which to draw from is the real problem!!! too bad there are no more Kenny Dagleish's or Davie Cooper's in the horizon... the closest thing to those greats is Barry Ferguson and he too is still to make a step or two up...

They are examples of 3 Euros who are useless fcuking knobs on the field. Nothing more and nothing less....... Ricksen's tackles are 'tough'(cheap) because he is usually challenging from behind because he has just been skinned. Ask him about his success against Bobby Petta. :)

If Rangers have that many injuries, I will change my prediction.

Celtic 10 Forces of Darkness 0 ;)

No Excuses

Rangers' injury woes are nobody's fault but their own.
Year after year their scouts turn up cripple after numpty, numpty after malingerer. If they actually took the time to properly assess players' abilities and health rather than assume the player's value based on their pricetag, (usually over-inflated) they might actually have a decent squad without being on the verge of bankruptcy.

Rosenthal was a bust, so was Prodan, DeBoer has played how many good games? 2? 3? Mols is done. Van Bronkhorst was a marvelous player but he refused to play for half of last season so as to prevent himself being injured and fcuking his move to Arsenal. Big Amo is playing well right now but let's be honest about Konterman. He has been an abysmal failure, his cup rocket against the hoops aside. Ricksen? He would be better placed on the Dutch National Kung Fu Squad. Oh wait, he already does play for them. They're aye ready. 12 million quid for Flo? Hartson has as many goals at half the price and half the games.

Rangers aren't the only ones with injury woes either. Celtic have had go long spells without Agathe , Sutton, Larsson, Valgaren, Mjallby and Petta but you know what, just like my favourite Martin said, "Injuries are a part of football so I can have no complaints."

Don't be surprised to see most of both teams squads playing on Sunday. I think that both managers are using a bit of "kidology".

My prediction for this weekend's game is the following.

Not much football will be played, Rangers will receive two penalties from Dallas.

Celtic 3

Rangers 1

The Champions 1

Rangers 1

The Hoops take a draw from Ibrox which, at the end of the day, isn't something too many teams do. A nice set up from Ghod gave Petrov the opener only to be cancelled out by Numan's terrific strike from about 25 yards out.

The draw is a good result for the "Tic as evidenced by O'Niell's decision to make the defensive, Jackie MacNamara his only substitution. Rangers were without DeBoer and Moore while Celtic had to make do without Sutton and Valgaren.

I have to wonder why on earth Barry Ferguson would want to leave the SPL. There is no way that any other league would allow him to kick, foul, rake and elbow the way he does in Scotland.

Oh and before I forget, Celtic actually won the game 2-1 but Hartson's goal was called offside for no other reason than he was only two yards onside. He really should have known better.

Season's over bluenoses, 10 points ahead with a game in hand.
