I've been thrown into Music Moderator status, so each day I will post a song called "Sensei's Download of the Day".

I will do my best to cover all genres that most TTPers find interesting.

Today's download:

"Pants on Fire" by Buck 65.

Yeasterday ?

Sensei,

What was yesterday's download? And the day before that?

It's not nice to tease people like that you know... the weekend's traffic here on TTP is abnormally low and I blame it soley on everyone just watching this thread, waiting for your genre-specific musical selections.

Especially the Heavy Metal ones.

TotaljudaspriestBastard.

Whoa, whoa, guys, slow down...I can't handle all these replies to my "download of the day". Bastages.

Today's pick is a tribute to Fasty:

Manic Street Preachers "Why So Sad" - (Avalances Remix)

Class. Pure Class.

That is all.

I didn't realize this was supposed to be the "Nu Muzak" section of TTP. I'm just posting songs that I like and listen to on a regular basis. The chances of any of this stuff being "new" or even "cutting edge" are slim to none. I suppose I'll have to start listing more hiphop tracks to appeal to those looking for something original to listen to. That is all.

Some downloads for the day:

Beck - SexxLaws (Wiseguys Remix). Off the Japanese Import pressed-CD. An excellent track.

David Bowie - "Seven" (Beck Remix). Yes, its a day for remixes. To keep some continuity between downloads, check out another remix, this time produced by Beck.

Shuggie Otis - "At uh mi hed". Classic.

Blackalicious(Quannum) feat Jurassic 5 and DJ Shadow - "I changed my mind". Great vocals from lead lyricist, Gift of Gab.

You're all welcome.

uhhhh.....yeeeahhh......

Thanks for the early b-day wishes.....

And I'll even ignore the fact that you suggested I listen to the music of Will "I should be deep-fried in a vat of my own piss" Smith. That jughead motherfcuker isn't worth the pennies it costs to mass-produce one of his PG-13 CDs. Welcome to Miami indeed.

Gettin Jiggy With It,
-Sensei.

Sensei,

So when did the wheels fall off your downloading? I find it impossible to believe whatever passes for your gainful employment this week is tying you up to such an extent you can't add your inner-city picks anymore. I've seen your work ethic, remember, and I'd like to take at least some credit in making you as bone idle as you are. While it would be easy to make a corollary between your last post and the appearance of the ttp thread-killer polling whether Neil Diamond was ever in the Monkees, I'd best not continue berating the poor bastard. Instead, I'll turn my attention-deficit disorder to you. What you listening to now? Enquiring minds and all that.

Karolina says hello, she's with me here right now. Oh yes she is.

There's nothing fina....

Than Karolina in ya dina!

Nice to hear from you. Piss off on comments regarding lack of work ethic, Mr. Take-off-three-hours-early-to-hit-the-beach-with-Emma. You ruined me at L&M. Well, the unlimited internet access, porno, big gay Starbuck drinks and Tim Lutz all played a role, but I blame you. You and only you.

As for my listening tastes, here are a few downloads pour vous:

John Smith, Josh Martinez and Pip Skid - "Rollerblading"
The Coup - "Big Cats, Bigger Fish"
Aesop Rock - "Skip Town"
All Natural feat. Juice - "Ill Advisory"
Blackalicious - "Redemption" (Kutmasta Kurt remix)
Daft Punk - "Aerodynamic" (Slum Village remix)
David Bowie - "Seven" (Beck remix)
Depeche Mode - "Painkiller" (Shadow remix)
Finley Quaye - "Its Great When We're Together" (FLC remix)
Jeru the Damaja - "Can't Stop the Prophet" (Pete Rock remix)
Lyrics Born - "I changed my mind"
Placebo and David Bowie - Without you I'm nothing (UNKLE mix)
The Spooks - "Things I've Seen"

good stuff.

'Things I've Seen' by The Spooks? We were listening to that back around Christmas you twat. How quickly you forget. As far as the other picks go, thanks for posting some interesting titles. Now would you be so kind as to download them and burn them to cd for me, please? Thanks, that's very kind of you. My burner and PC, it pains me to say, are both still with old Dunc who, I can only assume, is ploughing the depths of the internet looking for obscure Perry Como releases. Perry Como left the Monkees just before Neil Diamond arrived, you know.

It's been too long since I had a big gay drink from Starbuck's. Everything has changed.

In case you somehow missed by top tip of a few weeks back, F.E.A.R by Ian Brown is top shelf. Get it and put it on my cd. Ta.

notification to regs

regs... Yes I am the first student and hopefully the first graduate, but one thing you have to realize is that there is an excessive amount of "la lerb" flowing around the Apprentice. All spelling mistakes can be blamed on the junta.

Sorry......@pprentice
