For SHAW subscribers:

SportsnetWorld HD is now available on channel 254 - if you don't see it on your guide, it means your area hasn't gone through the digital network upgrade phase that Shaw is currently in the middle of.

I should add, it's currently on free preview supposedly AND in order to view, your must have a MPEG4 capable box.

I *think* these are the models you would need to have one of:

DCX 3200 - 506 HD Box
Pace Summit - 568 HDPVR (PACE 758D)
DCX3400 - 505 HDPVR - 500GB
Pace Aspen 776D HDPVR
Shaw Gateway MG5225G with Portal MP2000

Personally I would go with the DCX3400 if not shelling out for a Gateway system.

If 254 not showing on my current guide (jumps from 250 to 300) does that mean that the upgrade not done in my area, or that my equipment is not compatible, or both?? Wondering if I should make time today to get a proper one, two big games Sunday!
