Sounders vs Timbers "derby" in the US Open Cup and Seattle ended up with 7 men due to 3 ejections + Oba Martins going off injured.

It looks like Dempsey snatched and ripped up the refs notepad to earn his.

Dempsey is definitely one. What a muppet ........ anyone else think because he's played in the Premiership, he's got some sense of entitlement in the MLS ??

He's certainly sour whenever I've seen him play.

I remember his first few games for the Sounders and he was trying little "cute" things left, right, and centre, stuff that he wouldn't dare try in the Premiership... that told me right there he thought pretty highly of himself and was above those around him.

For me, Martins is the better player on the Sounders and more enjoyable to watch.

Yes, Dempsey is a tool. I'm very curious to see what punishment he gets from this, and whether it can be applied across other competitions... MLS? Gold Cup? MLS has been known to be lenient with him in the past as he is a marquee player. I imagine USSF views him the same way.
