If Surrey finished second in group D (as the table seems to indicate), that means they face Trophy-holders Royal-Sélect de Beauport in a quarter-final on Saturday.

Ladies won this morning 3-1 and sit atop of the group with no more games to play.

Alberta has one game left vs Manitoba - a win or a draw by Alberta puts them through to the Gold medal match on goal differential... doesn't look good for the ladies at this point to play for Gold.

Quebec pulled 1 back to make it a 2-1 final.

The men now face the winner of Saskatchewan vs Alberta which is being played right now.

Not sure WTF I was thinking but Alberta MUST win tomorrow to knock the ladies out of the Gold medal match.

North Shore Pegasus was a very good team through the 90s and the 2004 title was special. I believe they trained at that gravel pitch off of Lonsdale when it was rainy out. What is this mention about Surrey youth?

Anyway, back to my margarita at the Vandalay Bay pool here in LV.

Saskatchewan beat Alberta 3-1 so the men need to knock out the 2011 champions after knocking out the defending champions to get to the Gold medal match.

The other "semi" pits Manitoba vs Ontario.

Mince.

We need a glowing ball to be able to see it on this coverage ala the Fox puck... are they playing on the old Eric Hamber turf field? Triple mince. Fcuk me, the dirt pitch at Mahon that North Shore Pegasus trained at was better than this :)

Alberta beat Manitoba this morning 3-0 so the ladies will be playing for Bronze tomorrow.

Both finished the group with 10 points but Alberta was +13 to BC +8

Yes, that was shocking....losing the stream at that point! Well done, Reedie, and the SU boys. As much as it kills me to say this......I hope you beat Celtic tomorrow!

The only thing more shocking than the losing the stream was the 5th pk from Sask that would have clinched the win for them. So far wide it might have been out for a throw in if it happened in the first 120 mins.

Yes, I am the ONE guy watching the game from Hong Kong. The broadcasters just mentioning all the international viewers and mentioned HK but I doubt other than me is glued to the final. When I watch CFL games online Justintv boot you out so this is refreshing.

Surrey down 3-0 with 5 minutes to play. Unfortunate red card to Vince Stewart 30 minutes in. Not sure what happened as it was off camera. Surrey has done well but it is a tough day today.
