SURREY UTD & CENTRAL CITY BREAKERS- MERGING/PARTNERSHIP ?

Word is that the 2 big Surrey rival clubs Surrey Utd and Central City Breakers are close to a partnership/merger etc .

CCB took over and replaced a club formerly known as Whalley Soccer club about 3 yrs ago.
CCB then merged with Surrey Youth Pegasus@ Newton Athletic Park 2 yrs ago.
CCB then split away from Surrey Youth Pegasus last year and took over the club house.
CCB also took control over most of the junior players membership.

Wonder who will be the dominant partner in the partnership between CCB and Surrey Utd ?

When will all the top youth clubs realize they are in the same boat and should all be partners with each other regardless of city??? Lower levels can focus on themselves, sure, but at the top tier they're all trying to achieve the same goals - pro soccer, university soccer, national team soccer.....and none of the clubs receive financial compensation for developing players to those levels so why create these silly partnerships individually......

The apparent prestige of the BCPL seems to be behind all these partnerships. CCB failed in their attempt to get their own franchise and joint BCPL partnerships with other clubs failed as well.
They were supposed to have a solid partnership with Magnusson Ford as it was announced on both clubs websites last year. This was apparently fiercely opposed by the club from Cloverdale with whom they are attemting to partner up with now.
It should certainly be a spicy partnership !

This is not youth discussions its about a partnership/merger between 2 clubs in Surrey. The other big club in Surrey -SFC have already announced their partnership with Coastal FC.

Voting for consistency without being able to spend the dosh to do it officially. I could spend hours on here correcting the mis-information provided about youth soccer, and generating even more discussion, but out of respect for the site owner, have chosen to respect his wishes and stated policy and not do so. This is just absolutely shocking, no idea what Surrey United is thinking. CCB is just a club based of Surrey fc. Majority of its teams are Surrey fc teams the park there running out of is Surrey fc, the clubhouse is surrey fc. CCB just betrayed surrey fc and threw them out of the clubhouse after surrey fc been there running out newton athletic park and the clubhouse since the 90's. Surrey fc built the entire park and invested ridiculous amount of money into building that park. Feel bad for what happened to surrey fc and hopefully those guys can back to where they once were. Surrey fc at one point had over 3500 members even surrey united didn't have that amount. Coastal is far much better club away from all this bs politics. Hope to Surrey back in that clubhouse. CCB are just bunch of thieves. An interesting thing is after ccb and sfc separation there metro program is still shared known as ccb pegasus interesting to see the future of that.
