They are a business not an agent of the CSA. If the canadians are good enough to play (and in the case of the Caps want to) they will.

Bullshit and you know that,

The Caps are set up IIRC, as a non profit,

They lose tonnes of money, but chalk it up to philanthropy.

The Lady Caps are the WNT and the Mens team are currently top of the table or damn close in the USL and this is stop-gap until the MLS shows up, where Kerfoot will then have a license to print money.

The "Canadian Question" is moot. The Caps are heads and shoulders ahead of both TFC and Montreal at employing and developing young Canadians.

Eddie Sebrango defected from the Cuban team in 98, and is now a Canadian Citizen, but because he was capped by Cuba he cannot play for Canada.

He has over 20 caps for Cuba, who interestingly enough are hosting the Yanks in WCQ this week for the first time...
