Rented this on DVD.
I highly recommend this movie for all of the reasons posted above, and for a few extra. The DVD has some special features which make it worthwhile. The movie pretty much ends with Joe finally making it back to camp (no spoiler there), but the special features include some interviews with Joe & Simon about what happen after that. Remember, as fortunate as he was in getting back to his tent, they still had to get back to civilization . . . and hospital.
