Bayern will play Aberdeen a couple days after the biggest match of the year against Bremen. I would expect a let down and not until teh second leg again will Bayern throttle them at the Allianz!

Leverkusen holds the Turks to a nil nil draw on the road. Chalk this one up as a win for the Germans. One up on you now JBN.

What the hell is up with Bremen's keeper. Another stopped pk today. Go DFB.

Rangers v Panathinaikos ready to kick off in 5 minutes or so...
Rangers team: McGregor, Broadfoot, Cuellar, Weir, Papac, Novo, Ferguson, Davis, Hemdani, Adam, McCulloch. Subs: Alexander, Boyd, Burke, Cousin, Dailly, Naismith, Faye.

Rangers team news: Daniel Cousin has been named on the bench for Rangers' UEFA Cup tie against Panathinaikos as Lee McCulloch is given the nod in the lone striker's role. Fifa will not make a decision on whether to sanction Cousin's protracted move to Fulham until next week, meaning he is free for selection for tonight's last 32 first leg at Ibrox. On-loan Fulham midfielder Steve Davis is handed his debut, while Nacho Novo is named in the starting line-up for the first time since early November.

Couple minutes to go until FC Bayern vs The Dons. Lots of players out on both sides. Should be interesting.

News flash.

1823 - GOAL: Aberdeen 1-0 Bayern
It's 1983 all over again! Aluko does brilliantly to control the ball, dance in the box, and lay it back to Josh Walker who curls a beauty into the right corner to give the hosts the lead. That's his first goal for the club - and what a time to do it! We have ourselves a match people!

Saying all that I'm not even slightly worried as when they come to the Allianz they will get throttled. Lets see: match stats so far. 11-3 shots, 3-0 corners, 56-44 Posession all in favour of Bayern. Yes what counts is whats on the scoreboard though
