AGM was last night, anyone here attend?

From what I've heard, the BC Super League was voted as a go with this year being the qualification for it.

Was there any discussion/voting on divisional restructuring?

VMSL Masters are getting a CAT division starting this September.

Also, and not really an AGM topic, but I've heard the Whitecaps have pulled out of the Premier division leaving Delta with a spot but no team. Rumour has it Thiller is on the move to construct another dynasty as player/coach.

Interesting times.

I heard that Queens Park Rangers are trying to get a team in the VMSL Premier. Rumour yes but there are so many at the beginning of the year. Can anyone verify this.

it has to be approved by all 3 leagues....
vmsl has approved...we now wait for the island and fvsl to approve...

bc select league will be a 10 team league ...with the top 4 VMSL in premier at end of season moving up to BC
VMSL premier will be a 10 team league--last place in premier will move down to div 1 and top 3 in div 1 will be moved to premier as a play off game between the two second place teams in each group

if this goes through... it should make for a very interesting transfer deadline in the vmsl.

the "top" teams will be loading up with players to ensure their promotion... and players trying to get into teams going into the new "real" premier division.

should be a feeding frenzy!!!

Also...(somewhat related) the Liberals promised the new Whitecaps training facility at John Oliver in Delta IF Wally Oppal was elected.

Will this still go through now that the recount is over and Wally lost by 32 votes???

It shouldn't. The Delta voters have spoken. They rejected the Liberals, one of the consequences was rejecting provincial funding for the facility.

Is Higgsy and Chewden bringing this team back, after the sensational run of 1987, from 3rd division to BC Champs.

That would be great to see a real team playing out of Queens Park again, it has been soo long.
