Westside 0 Norvan 0

About 60 Croatians took in this game. Actually i think we outnumbered Norvan and Westside fans combined. Both teams had chances to score, but both blew it, or the keepers made big saves. Westside is now officially relegated from the premier division, and Norvan has officially eliminated itself from the Provincial Cup.

From one side of the table to the other...

Surrey 1 MF nil. Cudo's to MF for the monumental turn around from last season to this. Full credit to the Wolves for being the leagues top point getters but they just fell short today to a very determined Surrey side.

They would rather cheer on another team to lose, than see another by there own.

Sap 2 - Clanbus 1

A pretty good game out at Point Grey Turf. Scrappy at times but overall a pretty entertaining game. New turf - but still rips the skin right off just like old Empire. Sap moved the ball around really well with Trevor Todd and Mike Favaro getting back to old form just in time for Provincials.
Sap had 2 shots off the post (one inside post and one outside post) than stayed out. Sap scored in the 50th min off a crappy deflection when TT blocked the goalies clearance but none the less, 1 buzz.
Clanbus got it back 20 min later on a nice turn by Frank Troisi (WAB fcukup) down the line and great cross into the middle for the easy tap in.
Alex Jappy scored 12 min later rifling the ball into the top corner from 10 yards out after a scramble in front.

Doesn't it seem a little silly to have bothered with this game today when the season's champions were decided two weeks ago?
