Ouch. Hope he gets healthy.

Do MLS teams get any sort of cap relief for players w/ long term injuries?

You can put DeMerit in that category too, although he's seen a little more action and is expected back this week in a limited role.

a few jump out at me:
1: Rochat, he must have had some under the table money sent his way last year to be playing for only 150k... ffs...
2: Morfaw: is making a lot more than Koffie, and hasn't seen the field yet, injury I know, but yikes that's a lot more dosh than some teammates putting in a weekly shift.
3: Cannon v Nolly, nevermind the quality (sic) we've seen from Nolly, the pay packet difference should dictate who should be playing
4: Thought Dunfield would be on a lot more, not a ton, but more, like 90-100k per year
5: Hassli had better start contributing more SOON.

I know he is a talented physio, but there is no way Eddie is worth over 209k a year.

Really, I thought the basis would be play not paycheck. Intersting that the regulars so far have been lower paid guys taking their chances, at the same time may want to work on that scouting department.

Sort of disagree, their best players are their highest paid players. If I took my ideal starting xi I'd have
----------Hassli------Camilo---------
Teibert----Dunfield-----Koffie----Davide
Rochat----Demerit----Akloul----Salinas
--------------Cannon-----------------
Akloul: 150,000
Boxall: 42,000
Brovsky: 42,000
Cannon: 209,756
Chiumiento: 280,000

Thorrington: 207,200
Wagner: 42,000
...which only means only one 6-figure guy is not in the starting xi, their first overall draft pick...who really is a flip-em for me with Salgado vs Camilo (especially paired with Big Eric)

remember this team hasn't been fit all year, their one win vs TFC was withouth Akloul, Salinas, Salgado(not cleared at the time) Thorrington and Nanchoff (i might also be missing others)

After watching last night, Jeb Brovsky may be the most overpaid player in the MLS.

How TT isn't starting Chuiminto in the middle is beyond me. The guy has more intelligence and awareness than anyone out there, is strong defending (when he does), and will open up attacking lanes. The service from the midfield was absolutely shocking last night.

I'd love to see Chui running the show, even in a 4-4-2 alignment. Put him in there with Koffie, who protects the ball and is a far better player all around than Brovsky. Dunfield, you need to sit and think about what you've done.
