I HIGHLY doubt you'll see any Sportstown players with the Whitecaps except for JJ and maybe Alex (our keeper). I can say that I bet you'll see the younger players getting alot more playing time and possibly so more Pork'n'cheese players.

With Tony as the coach they might increase attendance as the European communitee might have a little more interest with him coaching? Their style of play will probably change for the better.

If that's true, Zues. Then we may see the highly talented Johnny Sulentic play every game for the full 90. He may even break his own North American assists record that he took from Bobby Lenarduzzi a couple of years ago.

You just may see more flares, red and white checkered jerseys and high alcohol consumption in the south section this year.

Umbro may lose out too...

I would imagine that the only stumbling block will be the negotiation of a new kit sponser. If Mr. Fonseca is to be the new coach I would not be surprised to see the 'Caps long assosiation with Umbro come to an end and Joma get the nod. Holger managed it with the national team. Its a win/win situation for the Fonseca family if Tony does get the job.

I'll Buy Season Tickets, Just to See the Coach

Give me a break, the attendance is not going to change as long as the WhiteCaps continue to sign local talent, that play with the local clubs for the winter season.

European soccer fans in this city are not going to come out in droves to support players that they can see any weekend in the winter months for free.

I don't care who you have coaching, bring in Sir Alex Ferguson, and see if the attendance goes up.

It is the player that people come to see.

Umbro

The kits for Joma are fairly small, I am not the biggest guy by any means and the Joma kit that we have hardly fits me the shorts are way to short. I would hate to see some of the other larger lads on the Whitecaps wearing these uni's.

I also don't see the Whitecaps changing uniforms as the just brought out new ones this year.

I wouldn't disagree with you. My only point is that whilst in negotiation of the coaches job, if indeed Fonseca has been offered it, I'm sure he'll try to fit the Joma angle in somewhere...

To be honest know Tony my self I am sure that he would have other things on his mind to begin with then try to get his team in a Joma kit. I could see him maybe trying it after he has setled in and gotten used to his position and surroundings. I wouldn't doubt that because anyone of us would do the same if we were running a company.

With the Pinky influence invloved with the Caps now, I am sure there is going to be a huge demand for colour boots.
