Yes, I certainly Googled. First line of attack! Kind of fun though, some of the obvious ones are Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Ali. There are several current basketball players that have changed their names once they converted to Islam. Maybe take a run at Mahmood Abdul Rauf (sp?).
