After wings last night at the Kings Head, I was wondering what other places there are that have great wings, cheap wings, etc. The best two that I'm aware of are:
(1) Mountain Shadow, Tastes great, Wednesday is the only day to go: on special $0.25/each. Seems to attract trashy Burnaby women who smoke . . . and their retired mothers.
(2) King's Head, Tastes great, but prices have gone up to a whopping $0.39/each. Seems to attract lovely, young UBC women.

However, last night someone told me of a place in Richmond, call The Garage that has them on Tuesday for $0.10/each. I wonder how they taste.

I had some pretty kick-ass wings at Vertical (Broadway and Trutch). 25 cent per wing and pretty good selection of the silly sauce.

Never had them....in fact...I've only graced that pub once in all the years I've lived on the NS. Must make a trip up the hill!

Speaking of wings...Besty and I went to Sailor Hagars on Friday night for a beer and wings! They were on special so Besty figured he'd order 10 wings and some fish and chips!

Well the wings showed up and I wouldn't consider them the traditional size hot wing! These things were huge! KFC would have a tough time competing with the size of these suckers!

That being said...the quantity significantly out did the quality. Besty was violently ill that night most likely due to a bad chicken! Not recommended for human consumption!
