Can anyone explain how the VMSL designates fields. We were told that our home field was Beaconsfield if that is the case why do we have to go to Strathcona for the second half of the season? It's not like Beaconsfield is closing down it becomes someone elses home field.
Most of the clubs in the VMSL have teams in all divs. Why can't each club have a desginated field assigned to them? Are things that hard? It would be a hell of alot easier to keep nets and liners in one place and each team wouldn't need their own.
Forgive me if there is another thread on this topic, I could not find it.
Looks like lots of Vancouver games will be a no go this weekend.
Instead of listing all the parks and which are closed, lets just say, that most parks are closed Saturday and open Sunday. So the VMSL has moved a few Premier games on Saturday, so they get played.
All Postponed on the VMSL site, except a Monday nighter between two Div. 1 sides.
I don't think next week will be a go either. Bring on the NFL Play-offs.
What we need is a good old fashion indoor tourney right now, are there any at Sportstoon or 8 rinks?
