In my opinion, these are all very good reminders to some teams that they should not take things for granted or they will get burned.

Still trying to get over the fact that a west van player screamed F off to a referees assistant not ten feet from him, staring right at him, face to face, and received no card. Walks? Where was that back in the day? Or are the lights at ambleside really that bad?

Finally home from a beautiful game and day at Gates. From what looked to be a nasty day on the field weather wise, turned out to be a gorgeous day of sunshine. Too bad that sunshine wasn't on the pitch.

We carried a majority of the possession in the game but our final third of the field was awful. We couldn't finish a sandwich today let alone a scoring opportunity.
Up 1-0 part way through first half and we pressured hard but nothing to show.
They generated a few opportunities to break in but faltered and turned over the ball.
Possibly 3 PK's could have been called, there's would have been the tying goal.
We'll take the win and move on and put it behind us.

Howe Sound were a great group of guys, good clean soccer nothing dirty and made for an interesting day.
Cheers to them for an enjoyable game.

Moving on to Sapp who I'm sure were watching and licking their chops.

PCOV 6-1 ROMA. We started off pretty sluggish this morning. Could be that it was our 2nd meaningful game in 2-3 months and the fact it was a morning game. Roma started off great and came at us hard and capitalized on a defensive blunder to go up 1-0. Both teams had plenty of chances with us missing the net or hitting the crossbar. Big Mario with some huge clutch saves to keep the score at 1-0. As the game went on we started playing better and Roma was losing their legs. We knocked in a few before half and came out strong in the 2nd half to make it 6-1. Credit to Roma, they hustled and fought hard to the final whistle. Next up....KNVB, Gilly and Guinesss and the PAU (Coastal) boys!!

Good job in the middle by Whistle Blower and his crew too!! It's nice to have linesman.
