The WV PCOV game went as follows: PCOV up 1-0 after 5, WV up 2-1 after 25, 2-2 at the half. PCOV scored two going away in the second half, they were the deeper team on the day. Sir M

Anyone have a line on Temple and Romanian score?

Yoda, I'm pretty sure Romanian didn't qualify for the BC's this year despite their great run in the VMSL cup before getting knocked out by WV in the semi's. Surprised to see the VISL go 0 for 4 in the first round of Cup this year. Always tough to win on the road as VISL had 3 of 4 who had to travel to the mainland. Poco went over there though and dismantled their top seed the Gorge 6-1, Poco winning wasn't so much a surprise but the scoreline definitely was. Poco looks like they are the team to beat with a very convincing result. FC Temple also looked pretty impressive as they dismantled Howe Sound 3-0.

What a beautiful day for a road trip and a bit of footy.
Gorge were a pretty good team and I can see how they won it all in the VISL with their size and run and gun style.
We gave them a freebie early for a 1-0 head start then we righted the ship and got organized and got up 2-1 by half. 3-1 PK took a lot of life out of them. Then it opened up and we put it away.

We were expecting a one-sided referee but they had a majority of the calls against them and the reffing was good and fair.

We played alright, but not really sharp, but we got it done. But not sure we're the team to beat.

On to PCOV next.
