Glory Glory Glasgow Rangers!

:knvb:

So their debt has gone from 70 million quid to 60 million and of course don't forget to pay of some of Mr. Murray's vested interests.

liverpool and chelsea in the same group....should be interesting to watch. With RSC Anderlecht (BEL) and Real Betis Balompié (ESP) along with them, a Chelsea and liverpool advance should be expected. Although the reds are making me nervous with their performance thus far in premiership. Then again, Chelsea have not distinguished themselves either

a link to the rest of the groups

TimKillers Artmedia Bratislava.

Methinks The Gers would have to get a good result at home and get lucky to tie Porto away to get out of this group...

It is strange to see the semi-finalists from last year in each others groups but I guess that is the way the ball bounces. Also strange to see some league winners put together. Inter has the best group I believe along with Barca and Real looking to win easily. I think Villa will give Man U a challenge and Group A with Juv and Munich could be interesting. Can't wait to play Chelski again. Bastards!!!!

Willis

Why shouldn't The Reds and Chelsea be in the same group?? Holders or not they were not good enough to qualify last year. They should be happy to even be in the Cup.

Never said they shouldn't. Just stated it was strange that Liv and Chelski along with AC Mil and PSV are grouped together. Must be a Man U fan.

PS- Yes, the Champions league would be far better with Everton in it or perhaps Celtic. (insert sarcastic face) Sorry Captain.

No apologies, Willis. Celtic deserved to be knocked out with that disgraceful first leg. Embarrassing is the only word to describe it.

Super Champs!
3-1. A good result thanks to Cisse who came on with 15 left to equalize before 90, score in extra and then set up Garcia with a header even he would have trouble missing to end it. A nice start to the champions league proper for the Reds. If they get rid of Cisse now they are nuts. His pace is the only weapon we have up front unitl Crouch gets back. Morientes and Garcia, another sub par performance by the two but I felt Sissiko (sp?) looked far better today than previous.
