Therapist,

Alittle angry?
Maybe you should sit yourself in front of a mirror a counsel yourself.
Anger management 101:D

As for the league charging for the provincials, I'm not surprised.
Do the premier teams also have to pay?

Good luck to both teams in the finals and hopefully I'll be able to come and watch.

I think if you look it up, it's BC Soccer that is charging the fee, not the VMSL... ?

Cheers,

So I'm assuming the game is still on @ Adanac tomorrow. Are they putting the posts back up or something?

The game is on today at Adanac and they did put the posts back up.
Blaze Rep, I agree with you, having to pay to go the Provincials is a bunch of fcuking sh!te. That is so bush I can't believe it. Premier teams get money for travel when they are in Provincials and have to go to Victoria etc., and we have to pay to go...FCUK YOU!
Regardless of the Div. you play in, you pay the same fees so why are we getting fcuked over?

You are Playing Rec. Soccer, Why Should the League Give You any Money

Come on man, you are playing for a Provincial "B" Cup against teams that play in Rec. Leagues like the Burnaby Mens League and Richmond League, why should you get any money for travel.

This is why soccer in Canada is at the level it is at, we in this Socialist Country feel that everyone should get equal funding, even shitt football teams in Div. 2.
Give the money to the Top teams and players so they develop.

It is because of this mentality that we (Canada) does so poor at Olympics and other Athletic competitions, the funding for or athletes is terrible, because we give equally to all, even the Rec. athlete.
Give more money to the Best, so that we can compete with the Best.

Any way we can get some Pint Money for the trips out to Chilliwack and Victoria, it is a long way to travel home?

Hos,

News Flash: You're playing rec soccer as well! Premier is good soccer but it's still rec.

Unless big P is paying you;)

Equal funding keeps the workers happy

My contract with big P is confidential and is not the issue here, and yes we are all playing rec soccer, but at different levels.

There are some good young players that do play in the premier div. on their way hopefully batter things, should they pay for a trip when a bunch of never beens are getting funds to go to Vernon on the Piss for a Weekend Cup Tourney?

City 1: CA 0

City are probably too busy celebrating to post the results, so I thought I'd go ahead with it. I got there at half-time, CA carried about 75% of the possession and had the only real chances of the half. I heard that they dominated the first half, as well, but City's goalie and sweeper played awesome to keep'em in it. With about 5 mins left, City sent a ball in from 30 yards, the CA D-man misjudged the bounce and the City player was there to take advantage pushing it by the rushing goalie. It was a lucky goal, but I don't think anybody cares now! CA deserved the win, but couldn't put anything by a stingy City D.
I would have loved to play in the finals, but the dreaded PK's got the best of us. Congrats to the Blaze. I'm sure we'll see you guys around this summer, hopefully in Vernon ;) .

Go Cougs.

Zoolander

One thing I forgot, that Zoolander look-alike is a real idiot. After one whistle, he pushed a CA guy for no reason, then kicked at another's legs. Then he was face-to-face with one of the guys, and pushed him, knocking him over. What a fcuking joke. The worst part was, the ref gave them both reds. That was his only mistake in an otherwise well-refed game. Anyways, the Blaze won the game and that's all that matters.

Game

I left just before the goal was scored, but from what I saw, CA did carry the bulk of the play. City has a few good skilled guys on their squad, and had a few chances, but most of the chances went to CA. I was surprised at how strong the City defense was. They definitely came to play today.

Taj, I agree that #6 should have got the red, and the CA guy (#8) maybe a yellow for diving or being a bit unsportsmanlike.

Div.2 Cup Champions

Good good....well the Blaze predicted this from the beginning...well done boyz. Nobody gave us a chance against CA....I thought we would have silenced the critics....but I guess there are a few sour apples. Yes we talk shite...but we can back it up....in fact...we can back any ass up ...playboy!!!!!!

Seriously though....good intense game. What's with giving Zoolander a hard time.......he was just reacting to #8's whining all game. If #8 can't take a little razing then he shouldn't be playing.......nice dive pal....my grandma could have taken that push.

I thought CA was extremely classy, there were a few rough tackles but all in all no dirty play at all. Tsengra.....I don't think you should be talking sh#$ about Zoolander....you have a little mean streak in you too....

I agree that CA carried the play in the 2nd half....but they couldn't do shite against our solid D.....a shutout boyz. That is solid D. Name one team this year that could shutout CA....that's right nobody except tha BLAZE.

CA is a solid team and I t hink I can speak for all the BLAZE.....you guys are by far the best and classiest team we played this year. Thanks for the competition.....and the champagne.....another classy move.

C you in Vernon.....playboyz!!!!!!

We came, we saw...we kicked some ass.....jeah.

Blaze Shutout CA

You maybe the only team to shutout CA. But those horse shoes or Cow shoes from the pasture were shoved up there pretty high to get it done. I'm sure if there was a rematch the result would be different. But it's soccer, one win takes it all. You guys got the upset. Well Done. I got to take in your last week's game against the Cougs. A great battle till the end, almost to the last man standing, literally. Both teams had some winers that night, but when it was starting to get rough I did notice one of your trash talking forwards start to wine that the other player was trying to hurt him. If you talk the trash be prepared to be taken out like the trash. That was a true battle as well. The final as mentioned great to see that CA didn't get the double even though they truly deserved it.

Congrats to City

Blaze Rep,

For the record I actually predicted a win for you guys. Although my win was based on your offense not defense... but I got it right anyways.

A win is a win. Props to city for pulling out the squeaker. Hard luck to CA for not taking advantage of the gibbled keeper for city moving about as well as three legged dog after a bad batch of heroin, the defender that took him out may have been buying the beer that night I'm sure.

And big ups to the keeper for sticking it out in some pretty obvious discomfort and making some key stops down the stretch.

The game was well contested the only real ugly part was when zoolander and the cliff guys went back and forth in their best MONDAY NIGHT RAW impersonation although I would have enjoyed much more had the PEOPLE'S ELBOW made an appearance.

The perfect season is over. City has the cup. I am looking forward to next season already.
