Can NDU pull one out take over fourth and keep distance from Mission? It's awfully exciting coming down the home stretch.

Actually...I think we are in fourth due to playing one less game than South Delta so far and....having beat them also.....no?

Cheers!

Back to our regularly scheduled program this week. Match ups as followed:

Wk 8 Masters Mission FC - Peace Arch Rangers Mission Sportsplex Fri 7.30pm
Wk 7 Masters LUFC All Blacks - Poco Castilians FC Willoughby TURF WEST Fri 9pm
Wk 5 Masters North Delta Utd Alumni - Delta Utd Delsom TURF Fri 9pm
Wk 10 Masters Abbotsford Brickmen FC - Peace Arch FC Sth Surrey Ath Park #8 Sun 10am

Only Poco Castilians, Delta United and Peach Arch FC have a shot at winning the league.

All Blacks have some new signings and should be better than their record indicates in their game vs Poco. NDU Alumni could also give Delta United some trouble. I don't see Abbotsford beating Peace Arch FC.

MOTW North Delta Utd Alumni vs Delta Utd Delsom

The All Blacks played hard but didn't generate much offense. We had a few injuries but managed to play through them. I must say it is disappointing the All Blacks won't be in the top tier next year as they work hard and are a solid team. Much better than some of the other teams that look like they will make it to the top tier. And much much better than the assletics as Yoda calls them. Golden Ears next week in a much anticipated matchup.

So was the reaction after the Allblacks 2nd red. I believe the quote was "Hey ref, it's 2010. You can pull your fcuking shorts down from around your chest." And that was just the beginning of the profanity laced rant.

Let's just say he snapped.

First red was interesting too, after the ref refused to tell the Ballsacks player how much time was left:confused: - there had to be 20 minutes or so. After the third request in succession, the ref finally snapped back, "ask your coach!" The reaction from the Ballsacks player was less than cordial.

Let's just say he snapped.

Not to mention the two times he had to stop the game to tell the guys on the sidelines to stop playing with the soccer balls.
Our guys were warming up, he stopped the game to tell them to stop passing the ball around.
Second one, was i believe, one of the players sons on Langley and his ears heard the ball bounce (i didn't hear a thing and was right beside the sidelines) and he had to stop to tell them again. Just weird stuff.

Really, what referree tells your team to wait on the sidelines for your subsitution to come off, then you can cross the line and come on the park. It actually became a joke after a couple subs, where players would lean to come and and everyone would yell to stay there, and then laugh.
I know that's probably official, but seriously, who still does it at our level?

I thought the ref was excellent. At least he's consistent and you know what to expect. Why not make the game official - best ref we've had all year in my opinion.
