No, more like the iron sheik meets a family of tape worms, meets a pair of Aussie Stubbie Shorts from the '70s.

Yoda was jealous of the shorts the ref was wearing.

But I do think he was the best ref we've had all year. He told everybody at the beginning of the game what he expected and wanted in terms of subbing and the wearing of rings etc. You knew he'd be a strict ref and that's fine by me as long as you know ahead of time.

PAU Prem had that ref this weekend too. It throws you off a bit when the first thing out of his mouth pre-game is yellow card for this, yellow for that, but he did a terrific job on the pitch.

Ruben? Reegan? I think he said his name was? He also told us he played for Olympiakos for a couple of seasons, dunno if he was blowing smoke or not.

Just looking at the standings there appears to be a bit of a battle betwen 8th to 11th place when you look at points and games in hand, etc.
If promotion into the top tier is at play here it will be interesting to see who gets in and who doesn't.

Question for Cloughie (Majeek avatar by the way) or WhistleBlower:

Has the league determined what the split will be for next year and finalized how it will look?

RF had coffee with Whistle Blower yesterday at the West Van game and it sounds like 2 divisions next year.

It was done at the beginning of the season. 10 teams in premier and the rest in Div. 1. There will be some new additions next year and they will start in Div. 1.

Cheers boys - Figured as much but couldn't recall the exact set up.

Which is why I threw in the '8 & 8' bit.
Was just curious as if it's a 10 team Premier a 6 team Div. 1, it won't be very exciting in the 2nd tier...
Or what if any of the existing teams bail or fold next year for example.
That said, as long as there's more teams coming in it makes sense.

But fcuk you both anyway, I still want to hear it from the horse's ass err mouth.

Why are you picking up players from Div 3 if you have injuries, Fat Monkey has to play sometime I hope i can make it to this game.

We have to pick up players from any division that has players that are 35 years or older. The only team in our club with this plays in Div. 3 so we called up 3 of them including their goalie and I think we have 12 players now.

Bored, with the team we'll be fielding I wouldn't bet anymore beer.
