This friday the Allblacks played Academico and I tell you that langley oval turf was scary. You know as much as I like playing on Friday nights I must say Langley definetly cheaped out on that facility. First they spend a million dollars putting in a turf feild and they have no friggin' showers , how fukcing stupid is that . Then if it rains the feild gets closed because of sitting water. I thought that was the whole idea of a turf feild , so you could play when it is pissing out ??? Then we get a 9 pm game time which is way too late for footie, actually there is no time for a pint at the pub after as we have no showers so who wants to go out after sweating for 90 minutes. Plus on Friday night it was a friggin' fog bowl down there , you couldn't see from side line to side line . I couldn't tell who had the ball half the time. Then because of the late start the top of the feild had frost on it so it was like playing on a hockey rink. And the ref That ziggy is a fukcing twit !!
There I feel way better now
A couple positive things were that we got the 3 points and it was a ton of fun playing with 5bt's for the first time.He was in on both goals and played a ton !! Well done big man !!
Surrey up next , after the 7-0 drubbing we took last time I think we owe them a decent game !!! Should be fun !!!

Academico put out a much better squad this time around but AllBlacks held the majority of the play. 5BigToes did suit up for his first game with us and immediately started barkin' orders and runnin' end to end like the wee lad he still thinks he is. A great addition to us and a great loss to Parched Arsene .

I missed my second game, the two we just won, perhaps I'll Gaffer the ScUm game next week as the AllBlacks bench is gaining depth in all the right places. Three subs again this week which is perfect, just lovin' this season.

Gameboy, I heard you carried 75% of the play this weekend too.

Well Surrey up next and you know I always seem to get a little more excited about playing the likes of Surrey , Firemen and Peace Arch . I suppose that is because they are the measuring stick for your team , how well you do against them lets you know how good your team actually is .I guess with that in mind losing 7-0 doesn't really say much about us but I think sunday will be a tad bit different. I said firemen and not the rangers because if you took Bailey, Meyer, Wilkie, McKinty and Barry out of that side I am not so sure they would be unbeaten ?? How would just the rangers be doing ?? That is not to say they don't have a quality bunch of players but I wonder how well they would be doing. Bailey is playing so well that they put Izatt up front,meyer is scoring hat fulls of goals and who wouldn't want McKinty , wilkie and big barry in the center of the park.
With that being said I guess it doesn't really matter because the team they are now is called the Rangers and that includes the ex-firemen and they are one fukc of a team !!!!
I also included Peace Arch because after all they are in Second place but I don't really think they are all that great of a team , they lost to both Surrey and the Firemen . They just have a way of not losing points to the lesser teams. Also they are a bunch of tossers
I wonder if there are going to be any upsets this weekend ??

The only sure thing is Sapperton won't out play someone and still lose this weekend

Honestly - Agreed.
I've said from Day 1 the merger made sense as the Firefighter lads are arguably our best players.
I just think we (Old Rangers) make one fcuk of a supporting cast.
