Aldergrove 3 Chilliwack 2

Hard fought battle on the best pitch in the lower mainland. Chilli got a red early, but it was made up with 2 Pk's in their favour. CJ and Barnes with the tallies in the second half to gave us the 2 goal cussion with Chilli getting one back late to make it interesting. Dean did save one PK. I guess Mums couldn't handle the pressure. The beer tasted nice at Dukes afterwards.

Re: FVSL Premier Pre Season & September 08

PAU 4 - ACBC 2

Nice day out at S.Surrey, with PAU having most of the play and chances, so it shows with the score. PAU with 2 in the first half on some lax defending by the AC defenders, could have been more.
knvb was taken out for a couple of crap long balls from the back (wonder where he learned that), but this seemed to help AC as they scored on a couple of through balls that got behind the Nation defender and the keeper was left stranded.
2-2 at one point, but PAU turned up the pressure going forward and scored two nice goals, one a cracker from Taki about 25 yards out. Both teams tried to play some nice stuff on a great pitch, but both also looked a little out of shape. ACBC will get some wins this year if they can sort out the back line.
Man of the Match - Bird in Blue behind the net supporting ACBC.

Re: FVSL Premier Pre Season & September 08

the pitch was man of the match. a bloody snooker table it was.

followed shortly by whistler blower for not calling a pk but a free kick on the 18 yard line, of course acbc scored 2 mins later.

Taki with 2 great goals, to seal the points for PAU.

We thought it was going to be an utter pisstake after the first 20 mins, but good on ACBC for coming back to make it 2-2, with their guys coming back from injury and from TFC, to shore up the defence, they'll be a solid squad.

PS knvb get well soon, that looked nasty (knvb went head to head with an ACBC Player and came out worse for wear than the ACBC guy)

Re: FVSL Premier Pre Season & September 08

Best pitch we have played on in some time..Our inexsperiance on the back line showed for sure but we fought back and then gave up 2 at the end as the young Div 2 guys at the back didnt know how to handle the full 90min of pressure from a good Premier team who kept comeing. Still I thought we controled alot of the play. Glad to finnally get this game over and on to the season..
So whos next?

So sorry, I thought he got taken out for some of the shocking balls he played, and then was holding his head trying to figure out what went wrong.

Sorry knut, I should have brought the baby stroller over to ya.

Pitch at SSA was brilliant, both teams seemed to have lots of time on the ball, full match fitness is definily not there yet. Welcome to the Valley davey, bunch of Fraser valley animals. JC played the game of his life, not a foot wrong and whistle blower was spot on except for the first yellow he through out. Would love to see players and coaches aside quit askin refs for cards to be thrown around. Prefer the self governed style of football, old school style. Has a go at ACBC for it and they seemed to get it in the second half. Onto Delta next week, followed by a hot tub party at the ranch. Meat mallet anyone???

not a bad game out in the rock both teams played some nice footy. lots of scoring chances missed by pau in both halfs of the game. acbc had a few chances aswell but the score could have been alot different if pau would of potted half of their chances. thumbs up to the acbc players and coach who stuck around for some pints after the game. watch out valley acbc could do some damage if they get some of their hurt starters back good luck the rest of the way guys

GEU 2 Chilli 1

Very impressed with GEU tonight! These guys work very hard and have skill to match. Chilli played fairly well but couldn't tie it up. GEU's # 23 with both goals. Bluebird to give details.

GEU 2-1 Chilliwack

Great night on the grass down at albion tonight and a tough fought match on both ends. Missed the first goal but thought GEU owned most of the first half. Chilli came out fast and tough early in the second and got one back off a corner. GEU picked up the pace in the second part of the half and finished a beauty header to go up. Chilli pressured but couldnt tie it up. Great game and a well earned win for GEU IMO. Well done boys.

Also congrats to bluebird on his first win in the top flight.

Cheers Cascade.:wa:
