Serbia didn't have enough crappy players on the park at one time. Serves them right. Cheaters.

Precedence

Ballsy move fron the VMSL brass......

Something to do with 2 disallowed goal calls from the same linesman that happened to be Serbian.......I think????

This could set a huge precedence for future protests:eek:

The official protest and ruling is as follows:

Yes, 2 goals were disallowed and the the linesman was serbian, but this had nothing to do with the protest.

Serbia used an illegal player who was registered with Westside u-21, Jason T. First of all, the westside coach confirmed the identity of this player, and the serbian manager was confronted whether this was true. The serbian manager confessed!

AC Milan wins the game and plays bimini's.

Not exactly the way you want to win, but rules are rules!

Because of him, Serbia loses....sheesh:rolleyes:

Did the ref not chack players cards?
How did you idenitfy this under 21 year old?
Surely the westside manager did not approach you.

I was thinking the exact same thing (well, except I thought "check", not chack)... the referee team for that game should be made to give back the money they received if it turns out cards weren't scrutinized properly.

ACM

The illegal player scored the winning goal. And The linesman had nothing to do with the game being decided. One dissallowed goal was clearly offside and the other one was close. Any premier team no matter if it is Milan or not should never lose to Serbia.

Fil, I gauranteed a third round appearance:rolleyes:

Fil, to answer your question on how AC Milan knew..., "connections"

In terms of the ref not looking at cards, i think serbia simply used a card of a player that could not play that resembled this illegal player. I'm sure we have all seen or at least have taken part in discussions like this over the years. It's not that difficult really.

Perhaps referees that ref a game where one team is "expected" to win hands down, the refs don't really pay too much attention to cards etc...?????? just a thought

What, if anything, is in the VMSL constitution for teams caught cheating blatantly?

Surely it's more than just the automatic loss of the game?
