If Campania beats Fruili it will be like this:

3. Calabria v 6. Catanzaro
4. Puglia v 5. Campania

If Fruili wins (anything can happen) or a tie like this:

3. Calabria v 6. Campania
4. Puglia v 5. Catanzaro

If Campania win by more than 6 goals they will get 4th and Puglia will get 5th due to more goals scored.

There you have it, I think I have too much time on my hands at work!!!!!!!

.....as opposed to winning by less than 6 goals and finishing 5 ad still playing Puglia?


End a long story short, when Campania wins, they will play Puglia.

There is no controversy about the tie for first. It has always been that the first tie breaker is goal difference, then head to head.

Go to fifa.com and look and the rules for the world cup last year. Why would the italian league be any different than fifa, were not english!

Catanzaro stepped up big time today and the boys played well. The Dormer Bros. were a different class today . Sal Mele was the big difference when he came in during the second half and the rest of the team played well from back to front.

I told Sal Mele he would be the difference maker coming in, none the less well done was a good game I think the whole park was cheering for Catz!!!!!!!! Well done.

The Apprentice did not play yesterday due to a upperbody injury suffered during the warm-up. Look for him to see limited action vs Abruzzo this coming Sunday.

Calabria has a really good team with so many good players but it just seemed like they couldn't get on the same page yesterday while Catanzaro did everything right. The team night out at the Mirage was a success with Ryan Dormer leading the charge in the alcohol department.
