Knights 3-WRU B2 (PKs).... What a shatty way to go. We went up 1-0 in the 10th off a corner kick header. We had about 70% of the possession in the first 30mins. We caught them sleeping but they quickly woke up, they had a few good chances but nothing serious. There keeper saved their asses off a corner kick to a header, which he pulled out a diving save to defect off his defender standing on the goal line.
Half time they must have had some of Michael Jordans special water from Space Jam, cause they came out a different team. Little more fire...The play went back and forth and we burried a 2nd one off a free kick from half. Goalie bobbled the ball on their 6 and our midfielder was left with a sitter to walk in the net. They scored on a Bway about 10mins before that. With about 5 to go, our defender misplays a header and goes out of bounds. They score off the corner kick...fml.....
They finished their PK's we couldnt......such is life... They were exactly what we thought they were, physical, strong hard tackling... Game could have been won outright by either team.

Pretty accurate but your 2nd goal was a foul on their keeper, and the first goal you guys scored shouldn't of been a corner too. Also the ref could of given them 2 pk's in the 2nd half, 1 deep in injury time but decided not too.

Not that it matters, but I don't think having you in the game would have changed much if you lost 7-2.

Any managers hear what they're doing about this weekend? It looks like only 4 games got cancelled, so are they going to get those done this weekend, along with whatever 2nd round games the can do in?

Not that it matters. Pretty sure I ever said I would have made a difference. Probably would have had more possession up front. But they played well.

Razi signed for Milan, so he could play anywhere at anytime with his work schedule I believe. He hasn't singed up. Swifty is in net.

Geez, you miss a day on TTP, you lose a game, nexts weeks picks are up--you are forever forgotten.

YOUNG GUNS 3---DYNAMO 1

Somewhat accurate although very skewed report by Irish Car Bomb, the YG's did come out very strong for the first 20 and it took us a while to adjust, we did got one, they got two on very clinical shots but blown assignments (by yours truly on the first- I can explain my rationale but that would take too long) gave the kid way too much room to finish.

The second half was all Dynamo, but credit YG's they played deep and packed the box, very difficult to penetrate. We don't have the patience (or insert 'skill') to try to move the ball back and around instead of trying the glory cross or deke for the 100th time.
They got the third with 10 seconds to go on a 3 on 1 as we were pushing hard.

The game was well played with very good intensity but was not dirty. The better team did win on the day, we played better the previous two times, but the YG's have a got a lot of offensive flair and will be a team to be tough to beat...real tough. I still believe that we are just as good, if not better, but obviously I'm biased. Now it sucks because we won't play for a few weeks, and from watching the other matches after us, it would of been nice to get a better draw but we would have to play them later anyways. Okay enough sulking...

The Masters Peanut gallery did make the game alot of fun and I was trying to ignore them all, nice to have a beer wtih the YG's eventhough it went down sideways and tasted awful.
