Dynamo went up 1-nil early and then 2-nil before half. The two goals were not indicative of the play however as although we had an edge in the 1st half it was not IMO worthy of a 2-nil lead. Red Devils tied it up, 1st goal on a nice free kick which our keeper got finger tips on but not enough to stop it, and 2nd goal our keeper got bumped, no call and the game is 2-2. Can't say I saw it well enough to argue it as you could hardly see through the downpour.

With approximately 10 minutes left Red Devils took the lead, we were flat the 2nd half and looked tired (Not a good start to our 1st game of 4 to be played in 7 days!!). We pushed back hard for the last few minutes and scored to level the score.

Extra 30 mins was slightly in our favour, but we could not capitalize. Our keeper stopped two in the PK's, One on some guy that had the balls to call his shot (backfire..) and another on their keeper who stepped up to take a spot shot. Their keeper stopped one, but the rest of our shots were near perfect.

Red devils worked hard and had several very skilled players for sure.

Anyhow onto the finals... congrats also to WC for getting there.

Yes, that VBN online stream and commentary work was well done. Much appreciated by an ex-Dynamo player living in Edmonton. Was great to see the guys come through and play a solid 90 minutes. Especially after losing in the finals last year. Must feel well earned after finally getting to lift the Presidents Cup today. Onto the provincials.

The league should do this every weekend. Have a beer garden and live stream 3 games from a set venue. Time to create some atmosphere.
