It is too bad that your zone only gets two because it is obviously a tough zone. I'm sure the Valley will only get 4 next year or maybe 5. Does anyone know where next year's provincials are being held? I don't recall it being mentioned at all during the 4 days......

Actually, if it is Kelowna, I would expect the officiating to be much better. Their coach, bug eyes, is a ref evaluator in the interior and has been disappointed by the quality of officials as well.

Oh yes, the awards ceremony. It was the first time in the last 4 years we weren't there. I guess it was our form of protest........

If it is Kelowna, you can pretty well guarantee it will be an excellent event. The Kelowna coach is pretty organized and would make sure the officials are good, probably bringing Navarro up for the final. Just a guess though.

BTW, One Dart, what night works best for you in terms of the team wind-up? I'm meeting with the team tomorrow to collect jerseys and a bit of money for the t-shirts. Let me know.

BTW, I've now recruited 5 players for next year, and 4 of them are in grade 9. The youth movement has started again at South Delta..... :wa:

I think you can pretty much guarantee that Navarro would get the final, you did bring it up at this year's coaches meeting of course :D. How could he let that kind of enthusiasm go?

On a social note, Kelowna would be spectacular for everyone involved. The 18 hole putting course could be the scene of a team tournament, Night Moves could be the scene of a coaches' evening, and the casino would be a hit every day. Now, all we have to do is make it. :(

BTW, I'm already excited for the challenge because this will be our BIGGEST challenge over the last 5 years......

Biggest challenge and biggest rewards in terms of coaches nightlife. My guess is that there wouldn't be any heavy metal bands playing at Splashes. The youth movement worked once before. What days are the options for the windup?

They're looking at Friday or Saturday this weekend. Either one will work for me....

You're right, it has been done before and let's see if we can do it again.

Splashes and Night Moves might never be the same....... :D
