Regs: no. There were no Olympics in 1950. BUT...the US was the first team ever to not lose to Canada, in 1932 (Lake Placid). After three scoreless OTs with the Yanks, and the score still tied at 2-2, Canada was awarded the Gold medal with a 5-0-1 record.
